GRAND CHEMINOT'S MINUTES
July 16, 2005
Meeting called to order at 10:30 A.M. by Grand Chef Roger Bouton
Pledge of Aligence was recited and the opening prayer given by Grand Amunoier Bill Christensen.
Dan Land introduced the Nationale guest Chef De Chemin De Fer Russ “Mac” McCarthy.
Roll call of Officers was conducted.
Ralph Walters of Voiture 1543 presented Grande Chef Roger a Train for his service to the 40/8.
Erie Cooper asked if fines were allowed in a Grande Cheminot's and pointed out we had the Cabane colors flying in lieu or ours. Colors were changed.
Dan Roberson gave membership report; he stated
Motion to suspend the reading of the minutes of the last Grand Cheminot's was made, seconded and passed.
There was considerable discussions regarding the 2007 National Convention and Ernie Cooper advised that Grande Du Kansas members should attend the 2006 National in Travis City, Michigan in order to familiarize themselves on what is required to put on a successful Notional Convention.
Ernie Cooper gave the committee assignments. Tom Emerson was assigned to assist Wayne McReynolds on the credentials committee.
Bruce Kouba advised that Dr. Mohler was not doing well, Bruce gave Dr. Mohler’s address and telephone number and asked all present to send him a card or give him a call.
Cheminot's was closed at 11:07 A.M. and Grand Chef Roger advised we would convene the Grand Promenade at 1:00 P.M.
